What To Do If Your Wordpress Site Gets Hacked Part 1

I have had two WordPress blogs hacked into in the past. That was at a time when I was doing very little internet marketing, and until I found time to address the situation (months later), these sites were penalised in the search engines. They were not removed, but the rankings were reduced.

Install the repair hacked wordpress site Firewall Plugin. Stop and this plugin investigates net requests with heuristics that are simple to identify most obvious attacks.

There are ways to pull this off, and a lot of them involve copying and FTPing files, exporting and re-establishing databases and more. Some of them are very complicated, so it's imperative that you go for the one that is right. Then you may want to look into using a plugin for WordPress backups if you are not of the persuasion.

I don't think there is a person out there that after learning how much of a problem WordPress hacking is that it's a good idea. But something I've noticed through the years is that when it comes to securing their blogs, bloggers seem to be stuck in this state that is reactive.

It's really sexy to fan the flames of fear. That is what journalists and bloggers and politicians and public figures do. It's terrific for this link readership and it brings money. Balderdash.

Of course it's possible to set up plugins to make your store more user-friendly like automatic plugin or share buttons. That's all. Your shop is now up and running!
